The thinking
Rather than focusing solely on output capacity, the priority was to design a temporary heating system that would operate quietly, reliably and unobtrusively within a sensitive, occupied environment.
System configuration, positioning and redundancy were carefully considered to ensure stable performance, while allowing the nursery to continue operating as normal throughout the hire period.
Responsibility for system performance, installation and ongoing support was retained throughout, removing the need for the client to coordinate multiple suppliers under pressure.
The outcome
Within 72 hours of first contact, a compliant temporary heating system was installed and commissioned with minimal disruption to the nursery’s daily routine.
Safe internal conditions were maintained, allowing the nursery to remain fully operational while longer-term arrangements were made.
The temporary system continued to perform reliably for the duration of the hire, providing reassurance and continuity in a situation where failure was not an option.
